The most underrated accessory included with each Mudi 7 is the travel case. It protected my Mudi 7 from the heavy rain while only having surface moisture on the outside. Unfortunately the rain got to my books and soaked them, but the travel case having protected my Mudi 7 gives me peace whenever I travel with it. Absolute 10/10 in my opinion.

It is most effective during on-site client visits: When I'm working directly at a server room rack, I use it to hook up to the internet on my own. This bypasses the need for local firewall configurations, and the built-in VPN ensures that I always have secure access to our company servers. I can easily access my secure data and tools without compromising the client's infrastructure.

We had 36 tablets, 14 laptops and 1 printer connected over WiFi to the mudi, plus a Poe switch on the ethernet port connected to 6 Poe cameras and a comet Poe. Spectators were able to live stream the event from the cameras and get real time results, all passed through the mudi. And just to add this was all on battery the entire time.

Battery life has been excellent – it easily lasts through long travel days and extended usage, which is exactly what I was hoping for in a mobile router. Performance has been stable, and I especially appreciate the support for the latest channels, which helps maintain strong and reliable connections in different environments.

"Found a used Mudi 7 on a marketplace and was really impressed. The touchscreen is super convenient, WiFi 7 speeds are solid, and the dual SIM failover works great. Had a few minor quirks with connection stability and random VPN disconnects, but maybe it had more to do with the rural area I was in. As you can see in the recording, still hitting great speeds even out here. Your mileage may vary depending on coverage though. Long story short, I returned the used item (hate to do this) because of the faults, and ordered a brand new one from this official store. I wanted something with a warranty and the peace of mind of a fresh unit, you know? Plus the build quality felt really solid, which made me want to treat myself to a brand new one directly. Eagerly waiting for it to arrive so I can put it through its paces. Will update this review once I have more time with it."

Great Travel Router

"Received the Mudi 7 very fast. Have used it with Internet over eSIM, physical SIM, Repeater and via Ethernet cable as WAN, works flawlessly. Also have run Wireguard VPN on it and also installed Netbird Mesh VPN all working great. Whilst also having all of the great flexibility of the GL. iNET OpenWRT UI. Battery lasts a long time too."

"The device was as expected. Packed nice and secure and including the travel case. The setup was easy and intuitive like other GL. iNet devices. It works nicely, but still need to test most some of the functionality. For now the baterry life is as described, but I had the expectation that once the device is idle it will save more on baterry, but it is still satisfactory for my use case. I'm very satisfied with the dimensions and the weight as it is exactly what I wanted."

"I had a spare e-sim that I was not using on my phone, then Gl. inet announced the Mudi 7, as a happy Beryl 6 user I decided to trust them and I purchased one as a early bid. . it finally came in the mail last week. I tested it for about a week and is working great: great coverage and great functionality! I have still to test with a SIM card but I think it will work like a charm since e-sims are notoriously more complicated to get working, but I’ve installed it following my carrier instructions and it worked like a charm. Very good battery life too! Very recommended!"
