"Performanță și stabilitate Routerul funcționează foarte bine în utilizarea de zi cu zi: browsing, streaming, device‑uri multiple conectate simultan. Interfața este rapidă, iar setările sunt ușor de accesat chiar și pentru cineva care nu este expert în rețelistică. Totuși, am observat un aspect important: Dacă introduci prea multe liste în AdGuard (peste 6–7), routerul poate deveni ușor instabil, ceea ce duce uneori la mici blocaje sau lag în interfață. Nu e ceva grav, dar merită menționat pentru cei care vor să-l folosească intens pe partea de filtrare. Acoperire Wi‑Fi Acoperirea este bună, mai ales pentru un router compact, însă nu se ridică la nivelul lui Flint2, care e clar un upgrade în zona de putere și stabilitate a semnalului. Pentru un apartament obișnuit, Flint își face treaba fără probleme. Funcții de securitate Un mare plus este suportul pentru: VPN (WireGuard/OpenVPN) AdGuard Home Tailscale Politici avansate de firewall Pentru cine vrea control și securitate, e un router excelent în zona lui de preț. Concluzie Per total, sunt mulțumit de Flint (GL‑AX1800). Este un router stabil, rapid, cu funcții avansate pe care nu le găsești la multe modele din aceeași categorie. Singurul minus real este că poate deveni instabil dacă îl încarci prea mult cu liste în AdGuard, dar pentru utilizare normală este impecabil. Dacă vrei un router compact, sigur și configurabil, Flint e o alegere foarte bună. Dacă ai nevoie de acoperire mai mare și putere suplimentară, atunci Flint2 este pasul următor. The interface is fast, and the settings are easy to access even for someone who is not an expert in networking. However, I noticed one important aspect: If you enter too many lists in AdGuard (more than 6–7), the router can become slightly unstable, which sometimes leads to small freezes or lag in the interface. It's not serious, but it's worth mentioning for those who want to use it intensively on the filtering side. Wi-Fi coverage The coverage is good, especially for a compact router, but it's not up to the level of Flint2, which is clearly an upgrade in the area of signal strength and stability. For a regular apartment, Flint does its job without any problems. Security features A big plus is the support for: VPN (WireGuard/OpenVPN) AdGuard Home Tailscale Advanced firewall policies For those who want control and security, it's an excellent router in its price range. Conclusion Overall, I'm happy with the Flint (GL‑AX1800). It's a stable, fast router with advanced features that you don't find in many models in the same category. The only real downside is that it can become unstable if you load it up with too many lists in AdGuard, but for normal use it's flawless. If you want a compact, secure, and configurable router, Flint is a great choice. If you need more coverage and extra power, then Flint2 is the next step."

"II was looking for a WiFi 6 router where I could also load up my VPN. Kept browsing for a few days until I came across GL. iNet's Flint. It simply checked all my boxes so I bought it. 3 yrs later the router has been amazing. Easy to use very flexible, very stable, and get noumerous updates despite 2 new versions have been released. The team has also been Amazing and was very helpful either with questions or with help on technical matters. No matter how simple or difficult a question might have been a GL representative would always respond and would try to help. My new favorite VPN router
"I bought the GL. iNet Flint because I needed a router that could handle VPN connections without slowing everything down. After using it daily, I can honestly say it exceeded my expectations. "I bought a new AX-1800 and the DDNS name is different from the old router. Cause I have many connection with the old DDNS,so we must change the new DDNS with the old DDNS. The support do it per remote and all is wonderful! Thank u."

Great for home VPN
"I looove the Flint! I initially bought it as a bundle with a Beryl to connect all devices at home to VPN so I can avoid doing it on the client. I have compared it to other bigger brand, more expensive routers and the Flint has better coverage and achieved better speeds on WireGuard. I've had it for almost 2 years now and totally recommend it."
